The Canucks Downunder website is the combined journalistic effort of Donna Vitan and Jason Rundell, a young Canadian couple from Toronto, Canada visiting Brisbane, Australia. It documents their ongoing adventures or misadventures while living abroad, sharing their trials and tribulations as they come. From packing, attaining appropriate visas, apartment hunting, grocery shopping, just generally being awesome, they share it all in the hopes of enlightening those who are thinking of taking that giant leap in travelling abroad. May their shenanigans help guide you in your travels.

This is a photo album of their journey, a way to share their experience with family and friends on this truly unique, travel opportunity. Donna and Jason are also ambitious in taking this time to further develop and advance their professional skills in pulling this project together, putting into practice all the latest tricks of the trade – social media/networking and design – in creating a successful website.

As their adventure goes on, so goes the continual upgrades and development to provide a better online experience and entertainment.

A professional web developer for Australia’s largest travel agent: Flight Centre. He is extremely fascinated with all things space, and enjoys reading Gizmodo, Lifehacker, Endgaget about the latest in science, technology, gadgets, and Internet news. When he’s not being a geek, Jason is involved with playing non-competitive Ultimate Frisbee, volunteering for the Threads of Peru Project, volunteering on the Zed Games radio show in Australia on 102.1 4ZzZ FM every Wednesday from 6-7pm (Brisbane local time), or playing video games on the PC/Wii/Xbox/PS3/iTouch.
